Palm was one of those projects that landed on me out of nowhere. Wunderdogs' partner agency approached us with bits and pieces of an identity for Palm NFT. Palm NFT Studio was created by ConsenSys founder and Ethereum co-founder Joseph Lubin; film producer and Heyday Films owner David Heyman; and founder of the world-class art house HENI Group, Joe Hage. There was a lot of excitement around the project, and our task was to make sense of the identity, break it into UI elements for the website, and design the web experience itself. The project was awarded the GDUSA Digital Design Awards Winner in 2022 and remains one of the most unique pieces in my portfolio. Unfortunately, Palm NFT's site was updated in 2023 for reasons unknown to me, so the award-winning site is no longer live.
I worked alongside one of Wunderdogs' cofounders on the site structure and flow, as well as the full UI kit. One of the key complexities of the site was the interaction and motion design, which I art directed. This aspect was realized by a junior designer and executed brilliantly by the development team.
